Adityan Kayalakal has joined Jupiter Money as VP and Head of Marketing. He announced his move in a LinkedIn post.
Prior to joining Jupiter Money, Kayalakal was with Veera as Head of Marketing and GT and Founding Team Member. There, he drove the company’s growth to four million users in the first year — that’s over one million monthly active users, 500k weekly active users, and 100k daily active users, all with 13+ minutes spent per user per day. He also led the outward communication behind the product’s evolution: first, as a privacy browser, then as a rewards browser, and finally, introducing Web3 functionality with a multi-chain wallet and DApp store, making Web3 and crypto more accessible to everyone.
On May 9, 2025, he stepped down from his role at Veera and moved on.

Coming with over 17 years of experience from the advertising and marketing industry, Kayalakal also served as Head of Global Digital Strategy, Platforms, and Social Media at BYJU’S (Jan 2022–May 2023), where he spearheaded the global brand marketing team. His tenure saw campaigns, including unveiling Lionel Messi as the global ambassador for BYJU’S social initiative and crafting the BYJU’S x FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 sponsorship communication.
Other notable projects included the Education For All campaign, which achieved 100 million views, and the Indian Women’s Cricket Team World Cup Anthem, BYJU’S most-viewed digital campaign with over 250 million views.
Prior to BYJU’S, Kayalakal was Head of Content and Lead for Digital and Distribution at the National Basketball Association (NBA) in South Asia. He played a pivotal role in expanding the NBA’s footprint in India, creating over 350 pieces of content for the inaugural NBA India Games and launching Hoop Nation. His strategic distribution deals with Disney India, Viacom18, and DD Sports brought NBA content to over 70 million new viewers, while partnerships with platforms like Loco solidified the NBA 2K League’s presence in the region.
Kayalakal’s expertise also extends to the luxury and automotive sectors. As Country Head for India and South Asia at Publicis Emil, he led a marketing agency for Mercedes-Benz, transforming its digital platforms and growing its Instagram following sixfold in under nine months. His innovative campaigns, including the first international campaign for the Mercedes-AMG F1 team from India, positioned the country as a creator market and drove record sales despite economic challenges.
Earlier in his career, Kayalakal held leadership roles at Publicis Groupe, Digitas India, and BBH India, where he worked with brands like Reliance Jio, Tata Motors, Skoda, and Virgin Mobile. His contributions to the relaunch of the Tata Nano and the Virgin Mobile Indian Panga League campaign earned industry accolades and set benchmarks in digital innovation.
