Bharat Gupta has moved on from the role of CEO of Jagran New Media after working with the organisation for 25 years. He conveyed the same via a LinkedIn post.
“Leading Jagran New Media has been an extraordinary journey, and I am deeply grateful to my colleagues, partners, and industry peers who have been part of this shared success. A special thank you to the brilliant teams at Google, Meta, Internet and Mobile Association of India, International News Media Association (INMA), Taboola, International Fact-Checking Network, Misinformation Combat Alliance & Digital News Publishers Association and many other organisations—your insights, support, and collaborations have played a crucial role in shaping the digital media landscape,” he said in the post.
Gupta also expressed gratitude to his colleagues, industry partners, and stakeholders, recognising their contributions to the company’s success.
“To my team at Jagran New Media and Jagran Prakashan Ltd.—your dedication, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence have been the foundation of our achievements. It has been a privilege to work alongside such talented individuals,” he added.
As Gupta steps down, he conveyed that he is looking forward to embracing new perspectives, exploring fresh ideas, and engaging in meaningful conversations.
