Snap Inc Elevates Its APAC President Ajit Mohan To Global Chief Business Officer Position

Ajit Mohan has been elevated to the position of Global Chief Business Officer at Snap Inc after serving as the tech company’s President-Asia Pacific since January 2023. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s global advertising business, revenue product, and business operations.

Snap Inc Elevates Its APAC President Ajit Mohan To Global Chief Business Officer Position

After being associated with Snap Inc as President- Asia Pacific for about two years now, starting January 2023, Ajit Mohan has now been elevated to the role of Global Chief Business Officer at the company.

In his new role at Snap Inc, he will be responsible for growing the tech company’s advertising business across all regions, and lead its revenue product and business operations organisations to help bring greater alignment across its teams responsible for serving Snap’s advertising partners.

Mohan had joined Snap Inc in January 2023 as President- Asia Pacific after parting ways from Meta as VP and Managing Director- India, a role he served for nearly four years, from January 2019 to November 2022.

Before that, he was associated with Hotstar in the role of CEO from January 2015 to December 2018.

Prior to that, Mohan also worked with Star TV Network for more than two-and-a-half years. He joined them as SVP- Corporate in April 2012 and was elevated to the position of EVP in June 2013.

In the past, he also worked with The Wall Street Journal as Columnist- India Real Time for a year, with McKinsey & Company as a Management Consultant from 2005 to 2008, followed by a two years long stint as Fellow- McKinsey Global Institute (from 2008 to 2010).

He began his career as a Consultant at Arthur D. Little in 1997.
