Voltas, a TATA Enterprise, has appointed former Head of Marketing at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals- Pragya Bijalwan as its new Head of Marketing.
She announced the move via a LinkedIn post, wherein she mentioned, “Chilling into My Next Adventure with the country’s most trusted AC brand!! I’m over the moon (and under the AC, of course) to announce that I’ve joined Voltas, a proud part of the legendary Tata Group, as the Head of Marketing! To my mentors, friends, and family- thank you for being the wind beneath my wings.”
Apart from Voltas, she also serves the role of Board Member at the Indian Society of Advertisers currently.
During her close to four years long stint at Crompton Greaves, she was responsible for heading the marketing function for all the business units under Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals. That said, in Crompton Greaves, her core area of expertise included marketing strategy development, media planning, digital marketing strategy deployment, performance marketing, ecommerce, consumer insights and PR.
Before this, she was associated with Castrol for over four years as General Manager- Marketing, as part of which, she lead the country marketing plan for commercial vehicles oils category including marketing plan develop, strategy development for the country, optimum marketing budget utilization, brand management, ATLs, BTLs, communications, digital promotion, brand activations plan development.
In the past, Bijalwan also worked with brands like AkzoNobel for close to a decade and with HPCL for about four years.
