Max Life Insurance Company has elevated Sameer Jain to CVP and Head D2C Business (Acquisition, Engagement, Cross Sell, and CX).
Previously, he was VP and Head D2C e-Commerce from June 2018 to November 2024 at the company. In this role, he was responsible for driving annual paid revenue, managing overall spending, and roadmap for D2C web, app, SEO, and customer engagement along with a team of 30 specialists and a tele-sales team of 500 plus.
Before this, he served as Director- Customer Engagement, Onsite Marketing, Digital Analytics at ShopClues from November 2015 to May 2018. In this position, he was responsible for customer engagement and retention using advanced analytics, segmentation, integrated CRM workflows, conversion optimization, and personalization.
Earlier, he was associated with MakeMyTrip for nearly four years. He joined the company in January 2012 as Category Manager- Holidays. Later, he served as Lead- Onsite Marketing from December 2014 to November 2015 and was responsible for monetisation, inventory management, optimisation, targeting, re-targeting, personalisation, among other things.
Prior to this, he was Deputy Manager- Sales Planning at Maruti Suzuki India from May 2010 to December 2011. In this capacity, he spearheaded the PAN India pricing for all Maruti vehicles.
In the past, from April 2007 to May 2008 Jain was associated with Oracle as Application Engineer. From October 2005 to April 2007, he served as Software Engineer at Infosys.
