The marketing campaign was able to make a good connection with movie lovers, especially the Shahrukh Khan fans. Yash Raj Films ran a contest called Tu Nahin Samjhega which even used Youtube videos covering stories of fans.

We all know about the success of 3 idiots but most of us don’t know about the Social Media Marketing used by Amir Khan which created a huge buzz among his fans. Amir Khan went missing to promote the movie and the marketing team did campaign named ‘Track Aamir‘ in which clues were provided on social media sites- Facebook and Twitter.

This Vidya Balan starring movie came up with an idea of using missing posters of Arnab Bagchi and posts on social media. This created a great user-base for the movie as the campaign used was connected to the story of the movie.
