Yum! Brands’ Mohit Kumar Joins Mars As Head Of Media, Digital & Data-Driven Marketing

Mars, a family-owned multinational manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, and other food products and services, has appointed Mohit Kumar as its new Head of Media, Digital and Data-Driven Marketing. He joins Mars after a two-years long stint at Yum! Brands wherein he was recently elevated as Head Of Media and Digital.

Yum! Brands' Mohit Kumar Joins Mars As Head Of Media, Digital & Data-Driven Marketing

After being associated with Yum! Brands for over two years, Mohit Kumar, who was recently elevated to the role of Head of Media and Digital at the company, has now decided to part ways and join multinational manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, and other food products and services- Mars as its new Head Of Media, Digital and Data-Driven Marketing.

He had joined Yum! Brands, the parent company of popular joints like KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and more, in March 2022 as Senior Manager- Digital Media and Content, after calling it a day at McCain Foods, wherein he served the role of Head of Media and Digital Marketing for a year, starting March 2021.

Before joining McCain Foods, he was the Digital Marketing Lead- Oral Health Care at GSK for a short six month period.

From July 2018 to March 2020, Kumar worked as Digital Marketing Lead- Durex and Veet at Reckitt Benckiser.

Before this, he was associated with the media holding company within Interpublic Group- IPG Mediabrands as Account Director- Reckitt Benckiser Brands from June 2017 to June 2018.

Earlier on, Kumar also served the role of Business Director- Digital for Nissan and Datsun at Omnicom Media Group from March 2016 to June 2017.

In the past, at WPP’s leading media investment arm- GroupM he was Business Group Head- Mobile Media from May 2014 to February 2016.

Previously, from April 2011 to September 2013, Kumar served as Regional Marketing Manager at HDFC Bank. From October 2009 to April 2011 he was Research Manager at IMBR International (now Kantar IMRB).

From July 2008 to September 2009, he was also associated with HDFC Bank in the capacity of Internet Marketing Manager
