Xiaomi India has appointed Sudhin Mathur as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
He took to LinkedIn to announce the same and mentioned, “An industry that is ever-changing. An industry that teaches resilience. An industry that re-defines the concepts of biz in consumer tech space. Happy to share that I join back this industry as the Chief Operating Officer of
Xiaomi India. Looking forward to some exciting time ahead.”
Before this, he worked as an independent Strategy and Growth Consultant for a period of six years, starting in September 2018.
Mathur was associated with Motorola as Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India and Country Head- Lenovo Mobile Group and held the position for over one year, starting from March 2017 to June 2018.
Between May 2013 and June 2018, he worked as Executive Director- Mobile Business Group at Lenovo India. Prior to this, He was associated with Shoptalk Retail Marketing Services as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and held the role for over two years, starting from April 2011 to May 2013.
From 2009 to 2011, he was associated with LG Electronics India as Country Head- Mobile Communications.
He was Country General Manager at Sony Ericsson (a joint venture between Sony and Ericsson), from 2002 to 2009. He previously served as the National Sales Manager at Ericsson for five years, from 1996 to 2001.
In the past, he was also associated with RPG Paging Services, and Modi Xerox.
