Marketing and digital network Wondrlab is understood to be in the final stages of acquiring Madison World, the homegrown advertising major founded by Sam Balsara. The move signals a potential consolidation in India’s independent agency landscape, with Wondrlab looking to strengthen its platform-led, full-funnel marketing capabilities.
Founded by Saurabh Varma, Wondrlab has positioned itself as a marketing and technology network built on a platform-first approach. If concluded, the acquisition of Madison World would mark a significant expansion of its footprint across traditional and digital advertising, media, and integrated communications.
Madison World, established by industry veteran Sam Balsara, has long been regarded as one of India’s largest independent advertising networks, with a strong presence across media, creative, and outdoor verticals. The potential deal could combine Madison’s legacy strengths with Wondrlab’s digital and technology-driven model.
Saurabh Varma, Founder & CEO, Wondrlab Network, said: “We have consistently stated that Wondrlab is building for scale, and acquisitions remain an important part of that strategy. We are actively evaluating opportunities and are in discussions with multiple companies across capabilities that strengthen our platform-first, full-funnel marketing and technology offering. Any development will be communicated at the appropriate time.”
