Trident Group Appoints Harshavardhan Chauhaan As Chief Marketing Officer

Prior to joining Trident Group, Chauhaan served as the Chief Marketing and Omnichannel Officer at Spencer's Retail, Nature's Basket and D2C Brands for a period of more than four years.

Trident Group Appoints Harshavardhan Chauhaan As Chief Marketing Officer

After being associated with Spencer’s Retail as Chief Marketing and Omnichannel Officer at Spencer’s Retail, Nature’s Basket and D2C Brands for more than four years, Harshavardhan Chauhaan has joined Trident Group as Chief Marketing Officer.

Prior to joining Spencer’s Retail in February 2020, he served as the Central Head of Marketing and Phygital (Digital Transformation)- DLF Shopping Malls at DLF for over two-and-a-half years.

Before that he was associated with ShopClues for close to two-and-a-half years during which he served across various roles such as Associate Director & Head- Consumer Electronics, Large and Small Home Appliances; Head- Central Strategy Team (Marketplace); Head- Category Management (Fashion & Lifestyle, Home & Furniture, FMCG, Sports & Auto); Director & Business Head- General Merchandize & Alternate Payments Business (Semi-open Loop PPI) until he finally became the Director & Business Head- Marketplace (Merchant Strategy, Seller Ecosystem and Platform Monetisation) in December 2016.

Earlier on, he was also associated with Godrej Group for five years, starting March 2010. He joined them as Manager- Brand Marketing (Corporate Initiatives) and moved up the ladders to become Trade Marketing Manager- South India & Emerging Territories in June 2010; Regional Brand Manager- Mass Wash, Cooling & Home & Kitchen Segments in May 2011; National Category Manager- Home & Kitchen and New Product Innovation Categories in April 2012; and Group Business & Strategy Controller- Pricing, Planning & Sales Strategy in January 2014.

In the past, he also worked with ITC, Hindustan Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, Live Action Group and Accenture.
