Top Real Estate Companies With Highest Sales In India 2021

The real estate business in India has always witnessed a fluctuating market. However, the pandemic caused an extreme downfall in the sale of real estate projects affecting the growth of major companies.

But with the global marketing slowly picking up, many leading real estate companies are covering up their losses and have reported tremendous sales in its Q2 of 2021. As per the data shared online, here are the top 5 real estate companies in India.

DLF Private Ltd.

Founded by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh in 1946, DLF is the largest publicly listed real estate company in India, with residential, commercial, and retail properties in 15 states and 24 cities.

As per Business Standard, the company reported a 66 percent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 378.12 crore for the quarter ended September while sales bookings grew 77 percent to Rs 1,512 crore on revival in housing demand, particularly for luxury apartments.

Lodha Group

Founded in 1980 by Mangal Prabhat Lodha, the Lodha Group has developed residential and commercial properties in Mumbai, Thane, Hyderabad, Pune, and London.

In spite of the early part of the quarter being affected by Covid and the impact of monsoon in the Mumbai Region, Lodha had its best-ever performance for the 2nd quarter of the FY with over Rs. 2000 crores of sales in India. Additionally, Lodha had ~INR 1450 crores of sales in the UK.

Brigade Group

Headquartered in Bangalore, The Brigade Group also has operations in Mangalore, Mysore, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chikmagalur, Ahmedabad, and a representative office in Dubai.

The company reported revenue growth in Q2 of 141 percent to Rs 776 crore from Rs 322 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Brigade saw Rs 831 crore in sales value in Q2, up 73 percent year-on-year, with net area sales of 1.3 million sq ft.

Prestige Group

The Prestige Group, a property development company in South India, was founded by Razack Sattar in 1986. The company reported an 88 percent year-on-year growth in its sales bookings at Rs 2,111.9 crore for Q2 2021.

Godrej Properties

Godrej Properties limited is a real estate company. It is a subsidiary of Godrej Industries Ltd and was established in 1990 under the leadership of Adi Godrej. The sales bookings of the company rose 18 percent to Rs 3,072 crore during Q2 2021.
