Top 5 Maruti Suzuki’s Upcoming Cars In 2020

The automobile industry has been the ever-growing industry in India. Despite the economic fall down, the industry has been afloat in the market.

Maruti Suzuki has had the most bought cars in the first quatre of 2020. The brand is all set to launch 7 cars in the Indian market in the next 12 months.

1. Dzire Facelift

2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets cosmetic and features updates along with a new 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine found in the Baleno. The changes are in line with the rendering we showed you as well. The exterior comprises of an evolved front fascia with notable updates such as the bigger hexagonal front grille.

2. Jimny SUV

Expect the Jimny to cost around Rs 10 lakh with the SUV being retailed through the NEXA chain of premium car dealerships. Maruti Jimny Engine and Transmission: Globally, the Jimny is available with the same 1.5-liter petrol engine that powers the Ciaz, Ertiga and the facelifted Vitara Brezza too.

3. New Gen Celerio

While the current-gen Celerio gets a 1.0L petrol engine (69 PS/90 Nm), the new-gen Celerio could be provided with Maruti’s 1.2L K12B motor which currently powers the Swift, Wagon R, etc. According to the company, the power train makes 83 PS max power and 113 Nm peak torque.

4. Wagon R Based EV

Suzuki WagonR electric is an all-electric version of the Japanese WagonR, which will go on sale in India in 2020. In its regular petrol and hybrid version, it is already being sold in the carmaker’s home market since 2017. Maruti Suzuki has indicated that the electric version of the WagonR could cost upwards of Rs 9 lakh in India.

5. Swift Hybrid

The Swift Hybrid uses a 1.2-liter petrol engine and a 10 kW Motor Generator Unit to develop 91 hp and return 32 kmpl in the Japanese driving cycle. The JDM-spec Swift Hybrid derives power from a 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine connected with a 10 kW Motor Generator Unit and a five-speed AMT gearbox.
