The year of the pandemic has just ended and people have started looking forward to the things they could not enjoy last year.The first quatre of the year 2021 has ended and things have starte dto look up gradually.

Not only the world economy has lifted and the vaccine for the COVID19 has been introduced, there are many small things that many people are looking forward too. Since the entire world was in a lockdown, apart from many other things, people were unable to enjoy the much loved IPL series to the fullest.

The first match of IPL 2021 is set to be held on April 9 between Mumbai Indians & Royal Challengers Bangalore and cricket fans are eagerly waiting for it.

MS Dhoni‘s Chennai Super King did not have a very fruitful year before. Plainly said, they had the most difficult time since few of their players and staff members tested positive for COVID-19. The IPL 2020 was held in UAE due to the pandemic. Moreover, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh were unable to play for the team due to some personal reasons. This tied CSK fate from the very begining.

To make things more optimistic and encourage everyone’s spirits, CSK has launched the first look of their new jersey which had not changed since 2008.

The team has incorporated a camouflage on the shoulder with gold bands on the border which is a tribute to the Indian Defence Force. Apart from this, the jersey also features mysterious three starts above the team logo. Evidently, the stars signify the three wins by CSK in IPL over the years.

CSK is the second most successful team of the tournament after Mumbai Indians which has won the IPL title five times.

MS Dhoni had been training with the Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai, wherein they will play their IPL 2021 opener against Delhi Capitals on April 10. As per India Today, Dhoni also led a preparatory camp with a few of his teammates in Chennai before they flew to Mumbai in the last week of March.
