Following his tenure of nearly three years with The Coca-Cola Company, Kaustubh Jha has been promoted to the position of Global Cricket Lead.
In his previous role at the company, Jha served as the Head of Assets, Influencers, and Partnerships for India and South West Asia. Before joining The Coca-Cola Company, Jha held the position of Head of Marketing at Kolkata Knight Riders from November 2018 to July 2021.
Before that, he held positions with various companies, including WWF-India, where he served as a Consultant in Media and Advertising from December 2009 to April 2010. During his tenure, he launched WWF’s global initiative ‘Earth Hour’ in India.
In 2010, he joined Lodestar Universal as a Media Planner and Buyer. He was managing Coca-Cola India’s account there and had key involvement in associating CCI brands with TV properties in 2011, including ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ for Thums Up on Colors, ‘Thums Up Thunder Stars’ on MAA TV, and ‘Coke Studio @ MTV’, alongside other responsibilities.
After this, he joined MTV India, Viacom18 Media, in 2011 and spearheaded marketing initiatives. Some of his key responsibilities there included conceptualisation and implementation of two IPs, ‘MTV Rocks The Vote’ and ‘MTV Bloc Party’, and integrating marketing campaigns to drive revenue, brand imagery and reach for MTV.
In 2015, Jha joined ESPN, taking charge of their marketing efforts. He played a role in reintroducing the ESPN brand to the broadcast sector in India and spearheaded the launch of Sony ESPN in collaboration with Sony Pictures Network. Additionally, he was also responsible for launching ESPN.in while managing various other responsibilities within the organisation.
