Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has brought on board Mihir Rale as Partner (Co-Head – Digital | TMT), based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Rale, who wrapped up a long tenure as General Counsel at Star and Disney India earlier this year, brings with him over 23 years of experience in M&A, legal strategy, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes across technology, data, telecom, and IP-heavy sectors.
His move aligns with CAM’s vision for its Digital+ vertical, which now boasts two Co-Heads — Rale and Arun Prabhu supported by five specialist partners and a 30-member team spread across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. The practice offers end-to-end counsel to clients spanning big tech, gaming, SaaS, AI, e-commerce, and other emerging tech sectors.
