Sindhuja Rai has taken on the role of Chief Client Officer for WPP Media in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) region.

She shared the update through a LinkedIn post.

Rai previously served as APAC Client Leadership at WPP Media from October 2024 to June 2025, before being appointed as Chief Client Officer APMEA. Prior to that, she was the CEO of Wavemaker APAC from September 2023 to June 2025.

Her long tenure at Mondelēz International spanned 13 years, where she held key roles including Senior Director, Global Media Investment and AMEA Consumer Experience, from 2020 to 2023, and before that as Director, Media, Data and Digital, APMEA, from 2018 to 2020, and other leadership positions dating back to 2010.
