Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Jyoti Samajpati as Executive Vice President – Head of Marketing & Propositions (Consumer Bank). In her new role, she has become responsible for consumer marketing, customer propositions, strategic partnerships, go-to-market strategy, customer experience design and lifecycle management across the consumer banking portfolio. She has also taken charge of leading integrated marketing initiatives, building customer propositions and experiences, driving growth through consumer insights, developing ecosystem partnerships and embedding customer-centricity across products, experiences and communications.

Prior to this appointment, Samajpati has served as Head of Propositions at Kotak Mahindra Bank from October 2024 to July 2026.
Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, she has spent more than 17 years at Unilever across multiple global and regional leadership roles. She has served as Senior Global Brand Director – Close Up from February 2021 to October 2024, leading the brand across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Earlier, she has worked as Global Brand Director, Dove from August 2015 to February 2021, Marketing Manager – Innovation, Lakme from April 2014 to August 2015, Senior Brand Manager, Hair (Special Projects) from September 2012 to March 2014, Senior Brand Manager, Sunsilk from January 2010 to September 2012, and Brand Manager, Taj Mahal & Lipton from April 2007 to January 2010.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Brand Manager at Marico from October 2005 to March 2007. She has also served as Planning Manager at Lowe Lintas from May 2004 to October 2005, where she began building her expertise in marketing communications and brand strategy.
