Shivam Ranjan Elevated To Global Head Of Brand At Motorola

Shivam Ranjan has been elevated as Global Head of Brand at Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo company). Previously, he was serving as Head of Marketing.

He announced the same in a LinkedIn post.

Ranjan has been associated with Motorola Mobility for nearly six years. Before this, he was Head of Marketing for the Asia Pacific region from February 2023 to July 2025, and earlier led marketing for India from September 2019 to April 2025.

Prior to Motorola Mobility, he was Head of Brand and Marketing at Airtel Payments Bank for 1 year and 7 months, from February 2018 to August 2019. He spent over four years at Samsung Electronics from October 2013 to January 2018, where he managed brand communication and go-to-market strategy for Samsung India’s mobile business, including launches across smartphones, tablets, wearables, and services like Samsung Pay.

Before that, he worked as Head of Business Strategy and Development and also held additional charge of IT at Kelvin Cold Chain Logistics from October 2012 to September 2013.

He was Senior Manager – Business Strategy at Arshiya International from April 2011 to October 2012. Ranjan began his career in tech, spending over two years at Fiberlink as Senior QA Engineer from April 2007 to September 2009, and earlier at Infosys Technologies as a Software Engineer from June 2005 to March 2007.
