After being associated with Swiss Beauty for more than one-and-a-half years in the past, Rumi Ambastha has now joined Mila Beauté as Vice President- Marketing.
This development comes in the aftermath of former Swiss Beauty CEO Saahil Nayar joining hands with Milap Cosmetics’ Co-Founders- Sachin Chadha and Keshav Chadha to relaunch the affordable makeup brand in a new avatar- Mila Beauté.

Confirming the development to Marketing Mind, she mentioned, “Milaap Cosmetics, a legacy made in India color cosmetics brand, went through a major rebranding. And thus was born Mila Beauté. Mila is a promise of self-sufficient. Mila is promise of efficiency. Mila is a promise of accessibility. Mila represents all that is good and pride in made in India products for India’s varied skin tones by the best in the business. I’m so excited to be part of this iconic journey of the most promising color cosmetics kid on the block.”
Prior to reuniting with her former Chief at Mila Beauté, Ambastha served the role of Associate Vice President– Brand Marketing as Swiss Beauty.

And before joining Swiss Beauty, she was associated with The Man Company in different capacities. She had joined the men’s grooming products brand as Brand Manager in August 2018 and served the role of Director- Brand Marketing at the company from November 2019 to May 2023.
Previously, she also served the role of Deputy Manager- Marketing and Communication at HCL Healthcare India from June 2016 to April 2018.
From May 2014 to April 2016, she was associated with Manipal Hospital as Assistant Manager- Branding and Marketing.
However, before joining the brand side of things, she was associated with some of India’s renowned ad agencies such as MullenLowe Lintas and Mudra Communications (now DDB Mudra Group).
She started her career as Account Management Executive (Ahmedabad) at Mudra Communications in May 2009 and went on to join MullenLowe Lintas Group in November 2010 as Brand Services Manager (Mumbai). In June 2012, she was elevated as Senior Brand Services Manager (Bangalore) at the group agency.
