Republic Media Network has appointed Mohit Dhamne as its Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He has been a founding member of the network and has played a role in its growth since 2016.
Dhamne has begun his journey at Republic as Head of Finance and has later taken on responsibilities as Company Secretary and EVP (Finance). He has been elevated to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in December 2023 before assuming the role of Group CEO.
He has brought experience across finance, law and management to the role. He has also been a Company Secretary affiliated with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has completed a Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad while working at the network.
He has taken over the role at a time when the network has expanded its core business team and strengthened its leadership structure. The company has also reported growth in its digital operations, with Republic Digital reaching 149 million monthly users, as per Comscore data.
