Ravi Makwana has joined Vadilal Industries as Chief Marketing Officer in December 2025 and will be responsible for leading the company’s overall marketing strategy.
He announced this move via a linkedin post.
Prior to joining Vadilal Industries, Makwana was Category Head at Zydus Wellness from May 2024 to December 2025, where he worked on category leadership responsibilities based out of Mumbai.
Before that, Makwana served as Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons India between February 2022 and April 2024. He was part of the seed team responsible for bringing the Tim Hortons brand to India and led marketing, product and related functions during the brand’s market entry phase.
Makwana was associated with Tata Consumer Products for three years and nine months across multiple leadership roles. He served as Marketing Director from April 2021 to February 2022, Associate Marketing Director from July 2020 to April 2021, Brand and Category Head from October 2019 to June 2020, and Head of Brand from June 2018 to October 2019. During this period, he worked on brand marketing and P&L responsibilities for Tata Salt and the detergent portfolio.
Earlier, Makwana spent over six years at Asian Paints. He was Senior Brand Manager from May 2017 to May 2018, Senior Area Sales Manager from January 2015 to May 2017, and Brand Manager from January 2013 to February 2015, handling product portfolios, sales leadership, market expansion and brand management responsibilities across regions.
He began his professional career at Accenture as an Associate Software Engineer from December 2009 to May 2010.
