Actor R. Madhavan has called out Elevate Now for misusing clips from his interviews to create a false endorsement for its weight-loss programme.
A video shared by the brand featured a doctor discussing Madhavan’s weight-loss journey and concluded with the line: “Book your metabolic test today, and start transformation as precise as R. Madhavan’s,” implying an association between the actor and the initiative.
Addressing the issue, Madhavan took to Instagram to clarify that he has no connection with the programme. The actor also revealed that he has sent a legal notice to the brand, while expressing his disappointment over the incident. “What a shame. How do these people and organisation think they can get away with this.” He further urged his followers to remain cautious of misleading professionals.

Elevate Now has also posted similar videos featuring other famous personalities such as Karan Johar and Ram Kapoor. However, neither of them has issued a statement regarding the videos so far.
