Priyanka Khaneja Gandhi has joined Amazon as Head of Amazon India Ads Marketing. She announced her move in a LinkedIn post.
Prior to joining Amazon she was with Colgate-Palmolive (India) where she spent 16 years and held several positions, the last being Director – Integrated Brand Experience Lead. She joined the company in May 2008 as Senior Manager – Media Services, where she led media planning and strategy for the Indian market. In December 2014, she was elevated to the position of Head – Integrated Marketing Communication, a role in which she oversaw the development and execution of holistic marketing strategies that integrated traditional and digital platforms. In April 2017, her remit expanded beyond India when she was appointed Head – Media for the Asia Pacific Division. In this capacity, Priyanka led key regional initiatives and collaborated with country teams across the region to strengthen Colgate’s media capabilities.
With over 25 years of experience, Gandhi has also held a senior role at Madison Communications, where she served as Deputy General Manager. At Madison, she was instrumental in managing media strategy and implementation for prominent clients such as Marico and Godrej. Her work there further strengthened her credentials as a media leader with a keen understanding of consumer behavior and brand engagement.
Earlier in her career, Gandhi worked at leading global media agencies including Carat (Dentsu Aegis Network) and Starcom (Publicis Group). In both organisations, she held leadership roles where she managed media businesses for major clients such as Mondelez, ICICI, Marico, and Godrej. These positions gave her deep exposure to different industry verticals and enhanced her ability to drive results through data-driven media strategies and integrated campaign planning.
