Wavemaker’s Premjeet Sodhi Becomes WPP OpenDoor’s Global Lead- Measurement & Analytics

Premjeet Sodhi, who has been associated with Wavemaker for more than four-and-a-half years, has now been elevated to the role of Global Lead- Measurement and Analytics at WPP’s newly created vertical for Amazon’s Media Investments- OpenDoor.

Wavemaker’s Premjeet Sodhi Becomes WPP OpenDoor’s Global Lead- Measurement & Analytics

Having partnered with Amazon to create a dedicated unit to innovate, collaborate and drive meaningful impact across channels and countries, WPP has now elevated Premjeet Sodhi, who has been associated with Wavemaker for more than four-and-a-half years, to the role of Global Lead- Measurement and Analytics at OpenDoor.

This development comes in the aftermath of Amazon handing over its media mandate to WPP and Omnicom in September, 2024. Most recently, Wavemaker’s Deepa Jatkar also assumed the role of India Head at OpenDoor.

Prior to the elevation, Sodhi was associated with Wavemaker as Global Lead- Measurement and Analytics from August 2023 to January 2025. He had joined Wavemaker India as Chief Growth Officer in April 2020 and was elevated to the role of Chief Strategy Officer in September 2020.

Before Wavemaker, he worked with WPP’s other media agency- Mindshare Fulcrum as SVP from March 2018 and IPG’s Initiative as Chief Operating Officer from January 2012 to March 2018.

In the past, he also worked at Lintas Media Group for close to a decade, Ogilvy Outreach for a year, MRUC, ICRG Mudra and Gujarat State Financial Services for two years each.
