Pranav Bakshi Promoted To Chief Growth Officer At Network18 Connect

Pranav Bakshi has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer at Network18 Connect. In this newly expanded role, Bakshi will focus on transforming how content is created, consumed, and monetised across digital formats, connected devices, and international markets. He will also spearhead strategic partnerships and lead new monetisation avenues to build a future-ready digital business.

Prior to this, he served as Head of Digital Video Strategy and Partnerships at Network18, overseeing over 45 brands including CNN-News18, CNBC-TV18, News18 India, Firstpost, and Moneycontrol. During this tenure, he led digital content innovation, accelerated growth in connected TV, social and creator-driven platforms, and drove successful strategic partnerships across platforms and tech providers.

Before joining Network18, Bakshi spent over nine years at Times Network, where he held several senior roles. As Senior Vice President and Head – Digital Video, he led content strategy, performance marketing, and monetisation for brands like Times Now, Mirror Now, Zoom TV, and ET Now. He also headed social media operations and partnerships across multiple global platforms.

Earlier in his career, he was VP – Digital Strategy, Marketing and Content at Times Network, where he led Timesnownews.com to become one of India’s top digital news platforms. He also contributed significantly to branded content strategy as Head of Marketing & Business Operations.

Bakshi’s experience also includes leadership roles at NDTV, where he served as Business and Corporate Head of NDTV Profit, VP and Business Head of NDTV Hindu, and Associate VP – Strategy. He was responsible for driving operational efficiencies, leading content innovation in non-news genres, and overseeing strategic business turnarounds.

He began his media journey at Bennett Coleman & Co. (The Times of India), where he helped launch new business verticals and oversaw strategic alliances including tie-ups with Michelin Guides and Lonely Planet.
