The whole country is in shock right now because of Team India lost to New Zealand in a match the full of ups and downs. This World Cup was special for Indian cricket fans in so many ways such as Rohit Sharma making 5 centuries, Jasprit Bumra impressive spells, Kohli’s attacking captaincy and Dhoni’s calmness.
Sadly it all has ended now leaving the brands targeting big for the final matches if India had played. The popularity of team India can be guessed by the fact that Hotstar saw a record viewership just before Dhoni’s run out.
One more thing that made this World Cup special as the support Indian fans were giving the team participating the tickets buying in record numbers. Every match looked like its being played in India and an 87-year-old lady became the talk of topic of whole nation for her enthusiasm while supporting the Indian team.
How amazing is this?!
India's top-order superstars @imVkohli and @ImRo45 each shared a special moment with one of the India fans at Edgbaston.#CWC19 | #BANvIND pic.twitter.com/3EjpQBdXnX

Even Virat and Rohit and decided to meet her personally. She went viral on social media within hours and Pepsi announced to rope her for its campaign for the remaining matches. Pepsi released an ad featuring her which faced backlash.
Also would like to thank all our fans for all the love & support & especially Charulata Patel ji. She's 87 and probably one of the most passionate & dedicated fans I've ever seen. Age is just a number, passion takes you leaps & bounds. With her blessings, on to the next one. 🙏🏼😇 pic.twitter.com/XHII8zw1F2

Actually what happened is by mistake Pepsi colored our national flag on her face in the wrong pattern. Fans saw this and criticised the brand even after the correction was done. Pepsi, later on, deleted the tweet and edited it.
