Ogilvy & Mondelez India Win Agency & Client Of The Year Titles At Effie India Awards 2024

Winning big at The Advertising Club’s Effie India Awards 2024 were Mondelez India Foods which bagged the coveted title of ‘Effie Client Of The Year’, Ogilvy Group India which brought home ‘Effie Agency Of The Year’ title and Leo India which was awarded the Grand Effie for ACKO General Insurance’s campaign ‘ACKO: Health Insurance Ki Subah Ho Gayi Mamu’.

Ogilvy & Mondelez India Win Agency & Client Of The Year Titles At Effie India Awards 2024

At the 24th edition of ‘Effie India Awards 2024’ which culminated this Friday night at Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai, Mondelez India Foods bagged the coveted title of ‘Effie Client Of The Year’ and Ogilvy Group India brought home ‘Effie Agency Of The Year’ titles.

However, the coveted Grand Effie was awarded to Leo India for ACKO General Insurance’s campaign titled ‘ACKO: Health Insurance Ki Subah Ho Gayi Mamu’.

Sharing their excitement on bringing home the Grand Effie this year, Rajdeepak Das, Chief Creative Officer, Leo South Asia and Chairman of Creative Council, Publicis Groupe South Asia, said, “Winning a Grand Effie is always one of the most rewarding feelings and to win it for ACKO who we have partnered with since its launch is even more gratifying. This win is a testament to our solid partnership with ACKO which enables us to continue creating benchmark work which meets both business and community expectations.”

To this, Amitesh Rao, Chief Executive Officer, Leo South Asia, added, “At LEO we believe in creating work that truly is transformative and impactful and what better validation of that than winning the Grand Effie. And winning with a brand like ACKO that is defining brave new horizons in the impossibly cluttered insurance category is a fantastic feeling.”

Hosted by The Advertising Club (TAC) India, the Effie India Awards 2024 was attended by over 1,200 industry professionals from advertising, marketing, media, research, PR, and communication.

Further solidifying its stature as a calendar event for the industry and the second-largest Effie globally in terms of participation, the Effie India Awards garnered 1,152 entries from 75 agencies, this year.

With 486 jury members, including 254 marketing professionals, spending their invaluable time and insights for the rigorous judging process spanning across cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, the recognition of Effie India Awards stems not only from peers within the advertising industry but also from clients and academicians alike, celebrating creativity, strategy, and effectiveness from all perspectives.

That said, Effie Awards are globally recognized as a symbol of marketing excellence, honouring brands, agencies, and marketers who have excelled in driving business growth and delivering impactful campaigns.

This time around, Effie India Awards received sponsorship from a wide range of brands including Platinum Guild International- Category Sponsor for Positive Change- Social Good- Brands, Radio City- Radio Partner, Diageo India- Celebration Partner, and AMSTEL & Heineken Beer- Beverage Sponsor.

Speaking at the Effie, Rana Barua, President, President, The Advertising Club and Group CEO, HAVAS India, South East and North Asia (Japan and South Korea), Havas Group- India, said, “The Effie India Awards exemplify the power of strategic creativity and impactful storytelling. This year, with over 1,152 entries and an extraordinary level of participation, the awards continue to set benchmarks for the industry.
