Nitesh Pai has been promoted to Vice President – Planning at Ogilvy India. In his new role, he has been responsible for leading strategic planning functions, driving integrated brand strategies, and strengthening the agency’s planning capabilities across key accounts while working closely with leadership teams to deliver business impact.
He has shared the update via a LinkedIn post, where he has acknowledged the support and guidance of colleagues including Ganapathy Balagopalan, Nirav Parekh, Priyanka Rishi and Tirthankar B. in his journey.
Prior to this, he has served as Senior Strategy Director at Ogilvy from July 2017 to April 2026, where he has led strategic mandates across brands. Before that, he has worked as Sr. Business Director at Graphene Media Pvt. Ltd. from January 2016 to July 2017, where he has handled strategy and business development for key Ad Tech solutions. Between July 2014 and January 2016, he has been associated with MORE Idea as Strategy Partner, overseeing conceptualisation and execution of strategic projects.
Earlier in his career, he has worked as Project Manager at McCann Worldgroup from December 2012 to July 2014, managing end-to-end campaigns for brands such as Chevrolet Cars (South East Asia), Jet Airways, Pears (Unilever) and Reliance Life Insurance. From February 2011 to November 2012, he has been Sr. Account Executive at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, handling clients including Morgan Stanley, Monsanto, Wonder Cement, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation of India and RuPay.
He has also held the role of Account Executive at FCB Global between 2010 and 2011, working on Zee TV and Zee Cinema. In 2009, he has gained international exposure through roles at Ketchum in London, where he has worked on accounts such as Kodak, Geek Squad, P&G, Bayer Animal Health, Hertz and Adidas, and at Heavenly, where he has assisted in account planning for Google.
