ORION Home Appliances’ Niladri Datta Joins Buffalo Soldiers As Senior Advisor- Business & Growth

After being associated with ORION Home Appliances for close to three years now, Niladri Datta has joined Buffalo Soldiers in the capacity of Senior Advisor- Business and Growth. In his new role, he will be leading the business growth functionalities of the digital ad agency.

ORION Home Appliances' Niladri Datta Joins Buffalo Soldiers As Senior Advisor- Business & Growth

One of India’s fastest growing digital ad agencies, Buffalo Soldiers has appointed ORION Home Appliances’ Niladri Datta as Senior Advisor- Business and Growth.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading and driving the overall business growth functionalities of the agency in addition to shaping strategic initiatives that align with the agency’s vision for the future.

Prior to joining Buffalo Soldiers, Datta had been associated with ORION Home Appliances as Vice President- Sales and Marketing for almost three years, starting July 2021.

From November 2018 to October 2020, he served the role of VP- Head Marketing and Strategy (Brand and Product Marketing) at IFB Industries. He was also associated with LG Electronics as CMO- National Product and Modern Trade Head and Task Team Head for close to 15 years.

In an earlier stint with IFB Industries, he worked in the capacity of All India Marketing Head and Regional Manager for the company for more than seven years, starting November 1996.

Being a sector-agnostic agency with prominent B2C, B2B and Sports verticals, Datta’s role in Buffalo Soldiers will involve guiding the agency through new challenges and identifying growth opportunities.

With his expertise in leading cross-functional teams, deep understanding of the Indian market dynamics and strategic guidance, Datta is expected to bring fresh perspectives and robust growth strategies to the table and help Buffalo Soldiers’ brands make a more profound impact in their marketing journey. The agency also intends to enhance its services and expand its footprint in the competitive landscape of advertising.

Commenting on the development, Sumon K Chakrabarti, Co-Founder and CEO, Buffalo Soldiers, said, “Niladri is not just any addition to our team; he’s a powerhouse of strategic acumen and market savvy.
