Mumbai Police is known for its funny yet meaningful tweets. Time and again we get to see the social media team of Mumbai Police using memes to raise awareness towards topics that encourage safety habits among the citizens.
On Sunday, the Police department decided to go one step ahead by posting a very interesting tweet as a warning to fraudsters. The tweet read, “If you seek trouble, trouble is exactly what you will find.” The tweet had a pop-up message from Mumbai police asking user’s locations who typed “How to cheat people” on Google Search.
Not only this, the tweet’s caption is a twisted form of a line from Bible from ‘Matthew 7:7–8’ — the seventh and eighth verses of the seventh chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament. The common saying goes by ‘seek and you shall find’, upon which Mumbai Police’s tweet is based.
