This Is How Much Indian Cricketers Earn Through Their Brand Endorsements

Cricket is the most popular sports in India. People eat and breathe cricket here. As usual the cricketers are very popular among masses. Besides being paid highly for their services on ground, their popularity fetches them a lot of brand endorsements.

From times of Sourav Ganguly to Virat Kohli nothing has changed. Nowadays the cricketers are paid more and brands love to fetch them as their representing face to rob in more attraction for their audience.

Let’s have a look at how much these cricketers earn from brands:

1. MS Dhoni

He tops the chart. Though he has retired from test cricket still he gives a tough competition to the others on race. In a short span of time, the wicketkeeper-batsman became one of the highest paid players in the world of advertisement. He endorses 18 brands and has almost 12 crore endorsement each year.

2. Virat Kohli

The present captain of team India and the most popular among the crowds! The man has broken several records and his career graph is soaring high each day due to his indomitable spirit and passion for the game. He has average endorsement of 10 crore per year.

Brands: Reliance Jio, Pepsi, Boost, Nestle Munch, Clear (hair care range), USL, Adidas, MRF, Mattel, Oakley, TVS and Vicks.

3. Sachin Tendulkar

Let’ talk about the god now! So what if he has retired long back, he still is enough to give tough competition to the juniors of the game! He earns 6 to 7 crore per year!

Brands: BMW, Adidas, MRF, Aviva Life Insurance, UNICEF, Brand Ambassador for ICC World Cup 2015

4. Ravichandran Ashwin

Here comes the star spinner of India. One of the most successful man presently with the ball in his hand for India across all the formats of the game. His average endorsement is 1.25 to 1.75 crore per year.

5. Yuvraj Singh

The fighter on and off field. This beast has been a star all rounder for the side and has proved always with his willow. His per year endorsement cost is almost 1 to 2 crores.

Brands: Audi Q5, LG Electronics, Revital, Royal Stag Soda, X Box 360, Birla Sun Life Insurance

6. Rohit Sharma

Hitman and the present opener of the team. He is known for his skills to play smooth innings and well timed shots.
His endorsement is 75 lakhs to 1 crore each year.

Brands: Adidas, Lays, Ceat, Nasivion, Energy drink Restless, Mumbai Indians Education for all, Fair and Lovely, Nissan, Maggi

7. Shikhar Dhawan

He is the Gabbar of Indian team and opens batting for India along with Rohit Sharma. He has an average endorsement of 75 lakhs to 1 crore per year!

Brands: Canara Bank, Make my Trip, Lays, Hi! Blitz, Varda Group Real Estate, Fashion Big Bazar, etc

8. Suresh Raina

He is no more a part of Indian team but continues his game for IPL and Ranji matches. His average endorsement is about 25 to 30 lakhs per year.

Brands: Aircel, Pepsi, Colgate, Gujarat tourism, CEAT, Adidas, etc

9. Ajinkya Rahane

The vice captain of Indian test team and this right handed batsman too has a lot of brand endorsements attached to his name. He earns almost 25 to 30 lakh each year from his endorsements.

Brands: Spykar, Nike and Anukampa Group

10. Ravindra Jadeja

Popularly known as Sir Jadeja, this Indian all-rounder is a star on the field. His bowling and batting have saved India many times in tough situations. Thus, brands show faith in him and he earns 25 to 30 lakh each year.

Brands: Gujarat tourism, Incredible India, Life Ok
