Today, the world is all about social media and the many influencers of social media. Through the platform, many people have found a successful career path with millions of followers.

From travel vlogging to health and fitness tips, there is so much commotion on social media that it has become the one-stop marketing tool for many brands.

Many may think what is the future of these social media influencers. To many’s surprise, it is artificial intelligence.

There are currently many computer-generated influencers on social media that have followers more than many leading celebrities. While the list of these AI influencers is long, the one name that stands above all is Imma.

imma, which means “now” in Japanese, is the first virtual human and model in Japan, produced by Aww Inc. She has taken the internet by the storm with her famous bubble gum pink bob and ultra-fine fashion.

Her creators have given a lot of detail to her facial expressions and how she looks making her as realistic as possible.

She was even selected for “New 100 Talent To Watch” by Japan Economics Entertainment, and has appeared in numerous headlines from fashion to business magazines, TV and online, as well as being cast for top brands such as Porsche Japan, IKEA, Dior, Puma, Nike, Valentino, Amazon, Calvin Klein, Valentino, to name a few.

Christopher Travers, the founder of virtualhumans.org, has suggested to Bloomberg that virtual influencers could be here to stay.

In his statement, he said that virtual influencers, while fake, have real business potential. He further added that they are cheaper to work with than humans in the long term, are 100% controllable, can appear in many places at once, and, most importantly, never age or die.
