Mars has appointed Nitin Guleria as its new Head of Media. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s media strategy, managing campaigns across platforms, and leading the media team to drive brand visibility and engagement.
Guleria announced his new role on LinkedIn, reflecting on his professional journey and expressing gratitude toward mentors, colleagues, and partners who shaped his career. “I am starting a new journey at Mars as Media Head,” he wrote, highlighting the learning and opportunities he experienced during his tenure at previous organizations.
Prior to joining Mars, Guleria spent over seven years at Samsung Electronics, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Deputy General Manager from March 2022 to August 2025 and Chief Marketing Manager from August 2018 to March 2022.
Before Samsung, he served as Director of Media at Essence from October 2016 till July 2018, leading media planning for Google Home and Pixel campaigns, and as Account Director at Interpublic Group from December 2014 till October 2016, focusing on programmatic media strategies.
Earlier in his career, Guleria worked with Optimise in business development and client servicing, as well as holding managerial roles in OMG/Optimise Media Group from 2011 to 2013, where he contributed to the growth of mobile, display, and search campaigns for clients.
