One of India’s leading creative network, Kulfi Collective, which functions at the intersection of content, community and culture, has appointed Divya Karani as Chairperson and Executive Director of its Board.
The addition of Karani to the board brings strategic insights into the fusion of creativity, technology, and data that is at the core of Kulfi’s unique approach of bringing brands closer to consumers and culture through content, community and commerce.
Over the years, Kulfi Collective, through its three divisions- Supari Studios, Post Office and Keeda Media, has partnered with various brands and platforms including Spotify, Red Bull, Netflix, Lego, Flipkart and Zomato to deliver content, experiences and IPs that shape culture.
Prior to joining Kulfi Collective, Karani was the CEO of Dentsu Media South Asia from 2011 and 2023 wherein she was responsible for building and leading the agency to become one of India’s dominant agency networks, driving growth with strategically disruptive design, predicting the dramatic shifts in technology, data and creativity and pivoting dentsu’s trajectory and partnership accordingly.
Before that, she served as Vice President- Mumbai Business at Hindustan Times from 2009 to 2010.
From 2005 to 2009, she was the Media Advisor- Chairman’s Office at Reliance ADA Group; President at Mediaedge South Asia and Worldwide Client Services and Solutions and MEC at The Media Edge and MEC from 1999 to 2005; Vice President at Bates 1998 to 1999; Vice President at Mediacom from 1997 to 1998; and Media Director at Rediffusion DY&R from 1995 to 1997.
In the past, she also worked with Ogilvy & Mather and Trikaya Grey.
