IndianOil Corporation has announced that Saumitra Priya Srivastava has been appointed as Director (Marketing) of the company. The appointment has been made as per the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Srivastava, a Civil Engineer has brought over three decades of experience in the oil and gas sector. He has held leadership positions across downstream operations, marketing, and strategic planning, including serving as the State Head for Maharashtra.
Before taking on his new role, Srivastava has led IndianOil’s Corporate Strategy Group, driving key transformation programmes aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. He has played a pivotal role in initiatives such as SPRINT, a company-wide transformation programme launched in April 2025, along with projects like the Non-Fuel Convenience Store initiative and the Dhruva Retail Transformation Project.
He has also been associated with various digitalisation and technology-driven efforts that have contributed to reshaping IndianOil’s retail operations. Srivastava currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of IndianOil (Mauritius) and IndianOil Petronas, and as Non-Executive Director of Lanka IOC Plc.
