Indian Bars That Feature In Asia’s Top 50 This Year

The bar scene in India is on roll. With many new ones coming up in the country, this year has five of them being featured in Asia’s top 50 bars’ list.
Let’s check these five, that are taking India to the world.

1.Tesouro, Goa

Ranked as the best Indian bar, Tesouro has secured the fourth place on Asia’s top 50 bars’ list. This bar started during the pandemic and has in a very short time achieved what not many have. A casual bar with a boisterous vibe surrounded by the composed Colva beach, it attracts the young and old, locals and tourists and has quite a long list of regulars too. Found by Donovan Vaz and Arijit Bose, this place is loved for its cocktails, like the Midnight Brekkie- made of gin, vermouth, watermelon, peanut butter, and strawberry compote.

2. Sidecar, New Delhi

Started by bar legend Yangdup Lama and Minakshi Singh, Sidecar has been voted the 14th best bar in Asia. Spread over a two-floor area, with a cafe and library on the first and the main bar on the second, this friendly-neighbourhood bar offers some eclectic and signature-style cocktails , along with a gastronomical sojourn as a great accompaniment. The drink Sidecar- made with house-bend cognac, sandalwood cordial, fresh lemon juice and orange blossom water, is something every patron here would recommend.

3. Hoots’, New Delhi

Another bar from the capital, Hoots’ is on number 26th, in the top 50 bars list in Asia. This elegant, quiet and cosy feel bar has some interesting mix of clarified cocktails, that are made using a variety of ingredients and applying various new techniques. Accompanied by cigars and cheese boards, a quirky ambience and some splendid bartending skills on show, Hoots’ will give any visitor, a reason to return.

4. Home, New Delhi

The modern Indo-European-Japanese bar, is a new entrant on the Asia’s top 50 bars, at number 30. And the highlight of the bar is its menu that is based on the solar system. Hosting some interesting live events, and offering exclusive membership programs, along with an impressive clientele of the whose wo of the city, the bar has some unforgettable drinks and food menu on the list.

5. Copitas, Bengaluru

Ranked number 44 of the best bars in Asia list, Copitas, at the Four Seasons Bangalore, is famous for its lively atmosphere and handcrafted drinks and cocktails. Its originals, Ibiza and Regarlo are a must-try.

Apart from these five, that have featured in the top 50, we also have PCO, New Delhi at number 54, and Masque’s The Living Room, Mumbai at number 73. At 76th spot is The Bombay Canteen.

Mother Dairy is targeting a 20% increase in revenue to over Rs 24,000 crore in FY27, backed by rising consumer demand and plans to expand into new markets, according to media reports. As per media reports, the dairy major recorded a turnover of Rs 20,300 crore in FY26, up 17% year-on-year. The company has more than doubled its revenue over the last five years, crossing the Rs 20,000-crore milestone. As part of its growth strategy, Mother Dairy is looking to strengthen its presence outside Delhi-NCR. Chairman Meenesh Shah said the company is exploring entry into new markets where it currently has limited or no presence. The company is also setting up a dairy plant in Maharashtra, has leased a facility in Hyderabad, and is establishing a second plant in Bihar. Managing Director Jayateertha Chary said sales in the first two months of the fiscal have been encouraging, with ice cream emerging as a strong-performing category. Reports also suggest that from Mother Dairy’s FY26 turnover, the dairy business contributed more than Rs 15,000 crore, while edible oils and horticulture accounted for around Rs 5,000 crore. Around 63% of revenue came from Delhi-NCR, with the remainder generated from other parts of the country. The company currently reaches more than 95 cities across India and operates nine milk processing plants, four horticulture processing plants and 16 associated edible oil facilities.
