i-Genie.ai Appoints Amit Adarkar As CEO, India

Amit Adarkar has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, India at i-Genie.ai. In this role, he has taken charge of leading the company’s operations and growth strategy in India while supporting its expansion across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Adarkar has shared the update on his LinkedIn profile, where he announced joining i-Genie.ai and expressed his intent to help expand the company’s presence across India, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region while collaborating with the global leadership team.

Prior to this, Adarkar has served as CEO at Ipsos in India from September 2014 to January 2026, where he has led the company’s research and insights business for over 11 years. Before that, he has been Managing Director and Head of InnoQuest at Ipsos from January 2013 to September 2014 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Earlier, he has worked as Managing Director at MarketGate Dimensions Research from August 2011 to December 2012, where he has overseen both business operations and strategic research initiatives.

Before joining MarketGate Dimensions Research, he has held the role of Vice President at Nielsen BASES from February 2010 to May 2011, where he has been in charge of the India and Sub-Saharan Africa markets. From January 2007 to January 2010, he has served as Managing Director at Market Probe India, overseeing the company’s India and Middle East operations.

Earlier in his career, Adarkar has worked as Director at Synovate India from 2000 to 2006 and as Associate Director at ACNielsen from 1998 to 2000. He has also served as Market Research Manager at UDV from 1997 to 1998, Associate Research Director at MARG from 1994 to 1997, and began his career as a Researcher at IMRB between 1993 and 1994.
