Celebrating his 50th birthday today, India’s own ‘Greek God’ Hrithik Roshan is not only a superstar but also among the most reliable faces in advertising.

Born on January 10, 1974, Hrithik Roshan is not only a renowned actor but also a singer, dancer, TV personality, and performer. His debut in 2000 with “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai,” directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, garnered immense success, earning him two Filmfare Awards.

Hrithik Roshan’s endorsement portfolio includes brands like Mountain Dew, Burger King, Zomato, CureFit, Hero Honda, Ferrero Rocher, Rummy circle, Rado, Zebronics, Tata Tigor, Coca Cola, White Hat jr., and more. Additionally, he ventured into entrepreneurship by launching his clothing and accessories brand, HRX, in 2013.

Brand Journey Of Hrithik Roshan

Beardo

Renowned for his robust and masculine appearance, Hrithik was a natural selection for the men’s grooming brand Beardo, stepping into the role of their brand ambassador. The Vikram Vedha actor took center stage in a digital film for the brand, advocating the merits of “Hairy Masculinity” and emphasizing its celebration.

Burger King

Hrithik’s notable collaboration this year involved Burger King in an “ambush marketing” campaign for the Rs 50 Stunner Menu. Instagram ads showcased him in a staged scenario, creating confusion among netizens who later discovered it was a planned collaboration between Hrithik and the brand. The incident sparked discussions about the effectiveness of the brand’s “jugaad” strategy.

Simpolo

In 2022, ceramic brand Simpolo welcomed the actor as its brand ambassador. The brand expressed that his sophisticated, stylish, and adaptable persona aligns seamlessly with Simpolo’s vision, significantly enhancing its market presence. The TVC for the brand’s “Dekhte Reh Jaoge” proposition highlights Hrithik’s natural comedic timing.

Zomato

Hrithik Roshan’s partnership with Zomato faced challenges, notably with the “Mann Kiya” campaign. The advertisement, featuring him ordering a thali from “Mahakal,” sparked criticism from the Mahakal temple priests. The TVC underwent revisions, eliminating any references to the deity. Despite the controversies, the ad aligns well with Zomato’s distinctive style, and Hrithik’s performance, though subtle, adds a touch of humor.

Bisk Farm

Bisk Farm, under the umbrella of SAJ Food, enlisted the actor as the brand ambassador to endorse its Googly range of biscuits. Released in 2022, the advertisement highlighted Hrithik’s unparalleled dance abilities. Accompanying the campaign was the #GooglyTwister initiative, encouraging social media users to dance along with Hrithik and his signature “Googly Twister” move.
