How McCain StarChef Created A Buzz Around Its OTT Debut By Promoting The Launch Of Season 2 With Innovative Activities

How McCain StarChef Created A Buzz Around Its OTT Debut By Promoting The Launch Of Season 2 With Innovative Activities

After a successful first season on GOODTiMES, McCain StarChef came back with the second season with a bang! Making its OTT debut, the second season is exclusively airing on Disney+ Hotstar, where the episodes are streaming on the platform from 15th May 2024.

With season 2, McCain StarChef has expanded the show format with five thrilling episodes that show the diverse culinary landscapes of each region in India. Not just this, this season also includes a wildcard entry.

Featuring chef Manish Mehrotra leading the judging panel in the final and regional episodes graced by Anahita Dhondy and Aditya Bal, the show is taking foodies on a one-of-a-kind culinary journey.

With over 7,000 entries by passionate chefs from all across the country, the brand new season has brought the best of Indian cuisine while showcasing the richness and diversity of Indian cuisine.

Creative advertising at its best!

Not just the content of the episodes, but the way McCain has been promoting the launch is something that is getting eyeballs.

For example, McCain launched a dedicated AR Filter on Instagram so that social media audience gets an interactive medium to know about the show launch.

From an attention-grabbing CGI video that takes the special chef’s hat on a journey through the iconic locations of India to engaging social media posts, the new season has become a topic of talk.

In addition to this, McCain also engaged with students, or soon-to-be chefs, through a QR code that has been placed across hotel management institutes across India.

Overall, this show has all the ingredients to entertain, inspire, and indulge food lovers. By associating with Disney+ Hotstar, McCain Foods India has ensured that the culinary brilliance of StarChef reaches audiences across the country. For those who don’t know, all the episodes of this are available in Hindi and English on the OTT platform.
