Grapes Appoints Akshay Bhatla As Vice President Of Growth (SEO & Organic)

After being associated with multiple companies as Strategic Fractional Leader- Business Growth, Product Innovation, Marketing and Revenue Acceleration for the past six months, Akshay Bhatla has now joined Grapes in the capacity of VP- Growth for SEO and Organic verticals.

Grapes Appoints Akshay Bhatla As Vice President Of Growth (SEO & Organic)

One of the leading independent and integrated communication agencies in India, Grapes has appointed Akshay Bhatla as its Vice President of Growth for SEO and Organic verticals.

In his new role at the agency, he will take the helm of the organic vertical and oversee a diverse array of functions including SEO, ASO, ORM, CRM, and Advanced Analytics across multiple geographies and play a pivotal role in driving Grapes’ organic department growth.

Prior to joining Grapes, he was associated with multiple companies as Strategic Fractional Leader- Business Growth, Product Innovation, Marketing and Revenue Acceleration for the past six months, starting December 2023.

Before that, he served the role of VP- Growth and Marketing at EQL Fintech from April 2023 to December 2023, during which he led the company’s digital marketing, user growth and retention, product marketing, etc.

From August 2021 to March 2023, he worked as Senior Director of Marketing at Augnito; as Director- Growth and Digital Marketing at Trell from February 2021 to August 2021; as Head of SEO and Digital Marketing at Meesho from November 2020 to February 2021 and as Head of Digital Marketing, Growth and Analytics and Product Marketing at Rajasthan Patrika from July 2019 to November 2020.

In the past, he was also associated with Times Internet as SEO Lead- Digital Marketing for Indic (Vernacular) from February 2018 to July 2019 and with DB Corp as SEO head from July 2017 to February 2018.

Earlier on, he also worked with Zee Media as SEO Manager and SunTec India as Senior Executive SEO and PPC.

Expressing his excitement on the appointment, Bhatla, Vice President- Growth (SEO and Organic), Grapes, said, “I am honored to be a part of such a great organization.
