Sharmista Dev has joined Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH and Propagate as Head of Growth – East, strengthening the agency network’s leadership in the eastern region.
With more than 30 years of experience across advertising, brand strategy, marketing and business development, Dev’s appointment is expected to bolster growth initiatives for Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH and Propagate in the East region.
She announced the new role via LinkedIn.
Prior to this appointment, Dev worked as a Freelance New Business Consultant from April 2026 to July 2026. Before that, she served as Head of East at Rediffusion Brand Solutions from May 2025 to July 2025, following a stint as a Business Consultant at PromotEdge between August 2024 and April 2025.
Earlier, Dev was President – East at 82point5 from August 2021 to April 2024, where she led the agency’s operations in the region. She also spent over five years as Head of Office at Bates CHI & Partners from May 2016 to July 2021.
Her career also includes a year-long stint as Corporate Manager, Marketing at Eveready Industries India between July 2014 and July 2015. Prior to that, she spent more than two decades at Ogilvy, where she served as Business Head and Brand Team Leader from February 1992 to April 2013.
