These days, Swiggy and Zomato are those two apps we depend on for food, the most. They not only deliver food in such a short time, but the quality is appreciated too.
But recently, an incident has taken place that is creating distress in the minds of users. Let’s highlight it.
The Fake Shop Story!
We all believe in having sweets at the time of occasions and so an 11-year-old Saisha, too, had a craving for a Black Forest cake on new year’s eve. The kid lives in Noida’s Sector 143. He made an order on Swiggy from the nearest cake shop only to end up getting a call from a delivery boy mentioning that he is unable to locate the shop.
After talking to a senior executive, when nothing was concluded, the order had to be canceled. Another incident happened with the same family that ordered dinner, one night, and the delivery boy called to say that he is in front of the shop but it is non-functional.
The Rising Questions!
If the shops do not deliver anymore or worse, do not exist anymore, then why are they still on the platform? Not only they exist on the app, but the orders are being accepted, too!
Another case has been highlighted where a couple made their reservations at Khan Market for lunch through Zomato. When they arrived there, somebody told them that the venture had been closed a while back.
Next time any of you orders from these platforms, please make sure the restaurant is REAL and in any mishappening, NEVER be hesitant of filing a complaint.
