Emami has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the remaining ~73.5% stake in Axiom Ayurveda, with the transaction valued at up to Rs 200 crore. The acquisition will be completed in a phased manner over the next three months, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory requirements. In the first tranche, Emami has already acquired an additional ~36.7% stake, taking its total holding to around 63.2%.
Axiom Ayurveda operates a diversified portfolio across health and wellness categories, including beverage brand ‘AloFrut’, health juices under “Axiom Jeevan Ras”, and beauty products under ‘Mukti Gold’. AloFrut remains the company’s flagship brand, with a strong presence across general trade and government institutional channels, alongside offerings such as mocktails, energy drinks, and ayurvedic juices.
As part of its next phase of growth under Emami, Axiom has appointed Harkirat Bedi as Chief Executive Officer. Formerly Vice President and Business Head at Dabur Nepal, Bedi is expected to strengthen the leadership team and drive expansion in the fast-growing health and wellness beverage segment.
