The Duolingo English Test (DET), a digital English proficiency test platform, has unveiled a new visual identity as part of its brand evolution. The refreshed look, now live on the website, aligns DET more closely with Duolingo’s playful, recognisable presence.
While the mascot remains unchanged, DET’s logo has transitioned from its previous yellow-and-white scheme to Duolingo’s signature green. The DET website has also been refreshed to reflect the new look with significantly more green throughout, strengthening brand recall and driving consistency under the unified banner of “Powered by Duolingo.”
The rebrand was first teased on Instagram through a cheeky “glow-up” post in collaboration with Duolingo Global, true to Duolingo’s irreverent, student-friendly tone of voice.
