Generally, before boarding a cab or hailing a taxi, one doesn’t really give too much thought to its driver. He or she just picks you up from a pick-up point and transports you to your destination. But, Jeremy Abbott, an editor at UNILAD, experienced a rather thoughtful surprise when he boarded a taxi recently.
The driver by the name Onur was a specially-abled one, who respecting his passengers’ convenience had put up a message on the back of the front seat stating this-“I’m deaf so if you need to tell me something, please text, or when we’ve stopped you can write in the notepad to show me. You can use the AUX cable to play your own music – if you have anything with a strong bass, I will enjoy it too. Thanks for bearing with me and have a great day,”
Jeremy took to Twitter and posted this message by Onur. He captioned his post stating that it was the most wholesome Uber taken by him in his entire life.

People have also praised Jeremy for sharing this wonderful and kind act by Onur, in requesting his passengers to understand his condition keeping in mind their convenience. However, this wasn’t the first time that Onur has been in news. Back in 2018, when a model boarded his taxi, she too had shared his message.
