Dell Technologies has named Manish Gupta as its new Managing Director for India. Gupta will oversee the company’s operations, growth plans, and customer engagement across the country. He will be based in Bengaluru and report to Peter Marrs, President of Asia Pacific, Japan & Greater China.
Gupta succeeds Alok Ohrie, who is stepping down to dedicate more time to family and personal projects.
Gupta brings a strong background with over 25 years in IT, including more than a decade in leadership roles at Dell. Before this role, he managed global alliances, channel partnerships, and strategy for the APJC region. He also led Dell’s Infrastructure Solutions Group in India.
In his new position, Gupta plans to focus on helping Indian businesses adopt new technologies, innovate, and stay competitive.
