Deepa Krishnan has been appointed Head of Marketing at Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors. In her new role, she will lead marketing strategy and drive growth for the company’s real estate and alternate asset business.

Krishnan was previously Head of Marketing – India and South West Asia at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from November 2023 to November 2025, where she managed brand, digital, social, PR, and loyalty initiatives, contributing to double-digit growth and strengthening market share across MICE, weddings, and F&B segments.
Before Hyatt, Krishnan headed Marketing, Category, Loyalty, and Digital at Starbucks India from August 2019 to September 2023, overseeing marketing and product P&L, growing store count threefold, and driving 20% year-on-year growth in customer acquisition.
She has also held senior roles at Kantar as Executive Director – Strategy and Foresights from December 2017 to July 2019, Idea Cellular as Head – Brand and Marketing Communication from 2015 to December 2017, DIAGEO India as Innovation Head from 2012 to 2013, The Futures Company as Vice President from 2005 to 2012, and Godrej & Boyce as Assistant General Manager from 1999 to 2005.
Krishnan brings extensive experience across India and international markets, spanning FMCG, durables, media, hospitality, and digital ecosystems, with expertise in marketing strategy, brand building, innovation, and customer engagement.
