CEOs Of Companies Earning More Than INR 20 Crore Salaries

From Satya Nadella to Arvind Krishnan, scores of MNCs are being headed by Indian-origin individuals. From Novartis to Starbucks, globally renowned companies have appointed Indian executives as CEOs who are taking businesses ahead with their vision, professionalism and hard work, and are being rewarded with exceptional pay packages.

Nearing home, CEOS of Indian companies too are earning astonishing salary packages. Here are top seven CEOs of Indian companies that are earning more than INR 20 crores annually in the FY2023.

1. S N Subrahmanyan

MD & CEO of Larsen & Toubro India, S N Subrahmanyan took home a total remuneration of INR 35.67 crore in FY23.

This was 41 per cent lower than the previous year, the annual report noted, as in FY22, he earned an impressive salary of INR 61.27 crore.

2. C. Vijayakumar

The CEO of HCL Technologies Ltd since 2016, C Vijayakumar took a home INR 28.4 crore in FY 2023. In FY22, he was the highest paid Indian IT Firm CEO, getting a total remuneration of around INR 131.08 crore, after a two-year long-term incentive.

3. Thierry Delaporte

CEO and MD of Wipro since June 2020, Thierry Delaporte FY23 earnings equaled to INR 82.41 crore,

Thierry’s earnings saw a significant increase from INR 64.3 crore in FY21 to INR 79.8 crore in FY22.

4. C.P. Gurnani

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tech Mahindra, C.P. Gurnani earned a total remuneration of INR 63.4 crore after he received a 189% hike in his compensation in FY22.

His salary for FY23 amounted to INR 32 crore.

5. Salil Parekh

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh earned a salary of INR 56.45 crore in FY23. His compensation experienced a notable decrease of 21% in comparison with his FY22 salary of INR 71 crore.

6. Rajesh Gopinathan

CEO of Tata Consultancy Services since 2017, Rajesh Gopinathan earned INR 29.16 crore in for the FY 23.

He earned a total compensation of INR 25.75 crore in FY22.

7. Saugata Gupta

CEO and Managing Director of Marico Limited , Saugata Gupta earned INR 25.10 crore in FY 23, a 25% cut from his FY 22 salary of INR 36.10 crore.
