Castrol India has appointed V Kaushik Vedula as Vice President and Head – Marketing, with effect from February 2, 2026. The appointment has followed the resignation of Rohit Talwar, who had stepped down from the role with effect from the close of business hours on August 8, 2025.
The company has informed the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, confirming Vedula’s appointment to the senior management team.
Vedula has brought over two decades of experience across consumer goods, fast-moving consumer durables, and digital businesses. He began his career in 2004 and has worked across marketing, new business development, and P&L responsibilities in both large organisations and entrepreneurial setups.
Prior to joining Castrol India, Vedula has served as Vice President – Marketing at Emami, where he has overseen brand and business strategy across multiple categories. Before that, he has worked as Vice President at Quess Corp, where he has built and scaled a digital product business and has led multiple growth initiatives. Earlier, he has spent seven years running an entrepreneurial venture in the B2B2C space, working closely with consumer brands on retail development and execution.
In the early phase of his career, Vedula has worked with P&G, Nokia, and Philips, handling roles across brand management, consumer marketing, category development, and multi-channel sales management.
