With just a couple days left for the commencement of the 71st edition of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France, the second shortlists for the coveted gala have been announced today.
In the same, India has secured a total of 15 more shortlists in categories such as Audio & Radio (3), Film Craft (2), Health & Wellness (4), Outdoor (2) and Print & Publishing Lions (4). There were no shortlists from India in the Pharma Category.
With this, India’s overall tally for entry shortlists at the 71st edition of International Festival of Creativity has gone up from 3 to 18 now.

Cannes Lions will be announcing the third set of shortlists for this year’s coveted awards gala for categories such Design, Digital Craft, Direct, Entertainment, Entertainment Lions For Gaming, Entertainment Lions For Music, Entertainment Lions For Sport, Industry Craft, Media, PR and Social & Influencer Lions Shortlists on June 16.
This year, Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity, this year, is scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 21.
In the first shortlist announcement, India secured a total of three shortlists in Glass: The Lion Of Change Category as three Indian agencies- Leo Burnett India, tgthr and McCann Worldgroup managed to get one of their entries enlisted each.
As of today, the agency wise shortlist tally of India at Cannes Lions 2024 across the nine categories which have been announced is as follows:
- Ogilvy India, McCann Worldgroup India and VML India- 4 Shortlists Each (12)
- Dentsu Creative Gurgaon and Early Man Film- 2 Shortlists Each (4)
- Leo Burnett India and Tgthr- 1 Shortlist Each (2)
